Did you know a person is shorter in the evening than he/she is in the morning? Thanks to gravity pressure on the spine and cartilage.

Oh great!! Just what I need to hear.

You lose height as you get older, now you lose height as the day progresses?!?! You are not going to be able to "find" me on my 80th birthday at 11:00pm!!!

Very interesting. I knew that we get shorter as we get older due to gravity-induced spinal compression but I never thought about that happening every day.

So that is why my body is so confused. Sometimes I get up in the mornings. Other times I get up in the evening. My body does not know when to be tall or short .
