Trying to get in touch with, but not hearing from someone very close to you for a really long time, and then finally when you do hear from them, they tell you they got in a car accident and act like nothing happened to them (re: both the accident and being out of touch).

Friends who call you at 1AM to 4AM just to talk about nothing, or some relatively minor issue that could have completely waited until the next morning. I have several friends that do this and it's so obnoxious. I can't even turn my phone on mute overnight because I use it as my alarm clock, so if they call, I get woken up by my phone ringing.

I hadn't considered naming my pet Peeve. But I may need to re-think my position!

You need to set some boundaries with these inconsiderate friends.

I did. I told them no more calling me after 11PM or before 9AM. Now let’s just see if they actually respect that, lol.

Taking the stopper out of the bathroom sink, tugging on what looks like a few pieces of hair caught in the drain, and finding that those few pieces of hair are attached to The Thing That (Almost) Ate Lilac's Bathroom. I managed to beat it back with a broom once it emerged from the slimy depths, but not before the little piece that controls the stopper snapped. Plumber will be here tomorrow, but I'll be brushing my teeth in the kitchen sink tonight! The Thing is now in the trash, but I sense its kin lurking in the pipes, watching...waiting...

It's bad enough when telemarketers and surveyors pester you by calling your home unsolicited but now they want you to hold? LOL! Nice try getting ANYONE to participate in your public opinion survey

Lol. That's kind of hilarious. Even God himself probably wouldn't hold for a telemarketer.
