Today's Question(s):
What plans do you have for the weekend ? I do not have any specific plans. I probably will run errands and just hang out at my house.
Extra Credit Question:
In honor of Driver License Test Day
Who taught you how to drive? I learned in my driver's ed class in high school.
When you took your DL test, was the driving part done on
A set course at the DL test place
What part of the driving test did you "dread" ? I was too young to really dread any of it
Bonus Question:
What was the last thing someone told you that made you want to say
Did I hear you right ?
or
You did what ?
or

For all of these, a friend of mine was telling me about his encounter with an irate friend. However, repeating what he said would be TMI.
Just for Fun:
Did you ever own a bean bag chair Nope. I have never sat in one either.

Good morning and Happy Friday.
What plans do you have for the weekend ? DH and I have been invited to a housewarming/potluck tomorrow. It should be fun. People, music, and food. Other than that we are stuck in the house because we can't drive down the driveway on fresh pavement.
Who taught you how to drive? My mother started teaching me how to drive a stick shift when I was 13. She didn't seem to care if I had a license or not.
My DH took me for my written test at the DMV when I was 16. I didn't have to take a road test until I moved to FL at 19.
What part of the driving test did you "dread" ? The written test. I am so bad at tests. My DH even told me I could drive his '67 Camaro home, so I was really bummed when I didn't pass. Told ya I am horrible at tests.
What was the last thing someone told you that made you want to say
My stepdaughter owns her housecleaning business and she tells me all kinds of gross stories about people's houses.
Did you ever own a bean bag chair Oh yeah. I loved it but i liked my popason(sp?) chair better.
1965 - Sonny and Cher's "I Got You Babe" hits #1 My stepmother took us 5 kids on a cross country trip from NJ to California and the whole time we played that tape. We wore it out and almost killed each other by the time we all got home, lol.
National Creamsicle Day Yum!!
National Financial Awareness Day Maybe someone should tell all the financial bigwigs about this since they are clueless . My husband always says if the financial advisers were so good they would be retired, lol. So true.

Today's Question(s):
What plans do you have for the weekend ?
Relaxing!! Our annual fiscal year end insanity is winding down, and for the first time in months, I can say with complete confidence that I am NOT going in to the office to work this weekend. It'll be a nice change!
Extra Credit Question:
In honor of Driver License Test Day
Who taught you how to drive?
I took a Driver's Ed class at the local high school. The school I attended for high school didn't offer Driver's Ed, so I had to take it at the nearby public school. And because I couldn't miss regular classes, I had to take it at 6:30 a.m. in order to get back home in time to catch the bus to my school.
When you took your DL test, was the driving part done on
1. A set course at the DL test place ?
2. Out on the roads in town ?
It was on the city streets.
What part of the driving test did you "dread" ?
I hated parallel parking, and was dreading that part, but the examiner didn't ask me to demonstrate that skill, so I passed with no problem.

One of my staff at work was chattering about her weekend fun with her boyfriend, and it was DEFINITELY way more information than I needed or wanted to have.
Just for Fun:
Did you ever own a bean bag chair
Yes, my spouse and I had one in our first apartment. We quickly decided to get rid of it, however, because one of the cats decided that it made a good litter box and kept peeing in it.

What plans do you have for the weekend ? Nothing!!! And it feels great to say that. Well, maybe DH has something up his sleeve but I haven't planned anything and intend to relax as much as possible. Maybe a picknick at the beach with DS, he loves that

1. A set course at the DL test place ? No.
2. Out on the roads in town ? Yes.
What part of the driving test did you "dread" ? I was afraid I overlooked a sign because I was too fixed on the cars around me and the streets.
