Men and their 2-stroke engine leaf blowers. Seems like those noisy things roar for hours on end!

Arghhhh! You said it! Not only are they NOISY as all get out - they're worse for the environment than regular engines. I live in the city and our building's maintenance man is a terrific, well-meaning guy BUT he is in LOVE with that leaf blower. It's gorgeous here but every time he's at work I have to close all the windows. That barely muffles the sound...but at least it keeps me from dropping an anvil out the window just to shut it up!

Must have more power!! Must make noise!!! Must have more toys to do yard work than neighbor!!!

I will take the sound of a leaf blower or other outdoor tool any day over the constant barking or our neighbors dogs.

I always feel like they are following me too with the leaf blower. Does anyone else get that feeling?

Men love holding loud things that shake in their hands.

You can go from there.
