The way a cut or abrasion itches while healing. I do more damage scratching the itch during healing than was there to begin with.

Some people really can't handle anything that itches.

My cuts don't itch so much but mosquito bites sure do! The bites swell up and itch to the point of driving me mad.

I can relate Alice. The worst are stitches in the scalp. I need to be in a straight jacket not to scratch.

Scratching! It’s only a problem when I’m at the theater and trying to remain sitting for long long periods of time. “But” that’s the only place that itches most of the time. Guess my butt is healing up or I seem to always find the one seat in the move theater that seems to have ants. But I never find ants in my pants.

Itchy stuff is enough to make you crazy! Back around ten years ago I had the misfortune of finding out that I am allergic to sulfa based drugs. I was at someone's house for a big potluck lunch and next thing I know I am covered with hives from head to toe and itching like crazy!! It took 4 days of Benadryl to get me past that one!
