Being in *the chair* as the dentist is drilling in your mouth and having the sudden urge that you need to go to the bathroom, right now!

I guess I'm blessed Alice. Never had that one. I did learn not to go to Taco Bell before a dental appointment though.

Pet peeve: people who can't manage to make a single post without mangling the spelling of simple words. (Not the OP).

That's why it's always a good idea to take care of other business before I sit in the chair...

Reminds me of a commercial I seen where they ask the same question....something like "are you always going" then showing someone with this look of an emergency and movement like any second there could be issues.....

Haven't had that problem yet myself thank god

Yep....your so right AliceT, it never fails!
Especially when your an individual whom when they are nervous need to do this endlessly .....doesn't matter that you take all the precautions, like one cup of coffee in the morning and not drinking much of anything before your appointment! Because you so know when your nervous this happens!! Yet dang...... your body still somehow and someway finds the fluids, especially when your in "THE CHAIR" at the Dentist office...... !!

I don't know about everyone else here, but did you ever notice that when you get done with whatever you're doing that's nowhere near a bathroom, like driving home for example, you won't get an urge to use it, but when you get home and close to the bathroom, you get that urge all of the sudden... it's like your bladder knows you just got home, and it starts pressuring you to take care of business ASAP! I'm not joking about this, it happens to me a lot.. probably because I'm usually pre-occupied with something else.... like posting messages and getting in trouble on City Data!

I dont know, I can pretty much hold it no matter where. But when youre in a dentist chair and know you cant get u p for awhile, that might make you need to go more. I would hate for that to happen!
