Good for you. I regret selling my hunting rifles now. Back in the early 80's who would have thought ammo would ever be hard to come by.

I don't own a gun, but I sure support the right for people who choose to do so. I hope all of them are stocking up for a rainy day.....and I bet there is a storm coming down the road at some point.

I read the story in the link and I don't know why they refer to ammunition as "bullets", they're not bullets, they're called ammunition, or ammo.

The problem was evident since Obama got elected, ammo manufacturers could not keep up with the demands. I don't buy ammo, I load my own and I also saw a big shortage of components that are used in loading pistol and rifle ammunition, particularily primers, which is the little round part on the bottom of the ammo case, where the firing pin hits and ignites a spark, and the gun powder, and subsequently propels the bullet down the barrel of the firearm.

Aside from primers, it was also tough to find certain types of gun powders. The problem seems to have subsided now, and I'm able to find those components in gun stores.

As Mr. Heston said, 'out of my cold dead arms'... will always hope to keep our rifles and shotguns. I did purchase many rounds late last summer. In a safe place. Guns are never loaded in cases and cabinet. I don't hunt as much as I used to. However, we do target practice. Need some new targets, come to think of it.... Any ideas????lol
