We live near an animal rehab center. They actually give tours, and there are so many "lifetime guest" animals that is like a zoo. They have a mountain lion there that someone didn't declaw, but they cut the part that allows them to put out their claws, and tried to keep it as a pet. Naturally it didn't work out for them. They also have a few bears and wolves that people tried to make pets out of. It is sad, because these animals can never go back into the wild. They are very well taken care of at the rehab, but it's not meant to be that way.

There is a reason they are called "wild" animals!!
