Today's Question(s):

How many of you put up special decorations outside or inside for fall ?
I do...I love to celebrate fall, it's my favorite season. We decorate with pumpkins, gourds, mums, pine-cones. A nice basket full of Indian Corn,
mixed with fresh veggies... bundled wheat is a nice decoration.. corn stalks & of course a scarecrow.

Does anyone give their house a "fall cleaning" ? yes ... just a spring cleaning isn't enough for my house...maybe once the kids are grown..

Extra Credit Question:

The "Extra Fairy" is going to stop by your home today. She is going to whisk you away to be an "Extra" on any TV show you want

Which TV show would you chose ? not sure..I watch a lot of reality tv...are there show left that people act on?

Would you want it to be:

Just a walk on ?
or
A speaking part ?

Bonus Question:
For those of us with cell phones:

Do you know how many minutes your cell plan has ? yep

Do you usually:

Stay under ?
Go over ?
Use them all ?

Just for Fun:

What silly things do you or have you done to amuse yourself ?
Well, Mr. Pocono thought he was pretty funny a couple of nights ago, and was picking on sweet, innocent poconoproud... and when I saw two soda bottle caps on the counter, and two mr. pocono shoes on the floor... well.. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll105/poconoproud/th_indecision.gif (broken link)you know i put one in each shoe. The next morning, i was quite amused as he put on the first, frowned and dumped out the cap on the floor. My smile was hard to conceal as he tried to put on the other shoe...oh, I kill me...

Happy Saturday Karla and fellow QOTD'ers...

As for special decorations...I have 3 diningroom table centerpieces....I switch from spring/summer to fall and then to Christmas...simple!! Martha Stewert I'm not!!!

I guess you'd consider what I do "fall cleaning" because it's usually too hot to do any really deep cleaning here during the summer!

On my cell phone, I have one of the cheapest plans I can have...450 minutes for $39.99 and I stay under my limit...I went over once and it cost me too much money! I don't have roll over minutes unfortunately, but I do try to use all my minutes!

To amuse myself...well...I spend a lot of time here with all of you nice people, and I go on facebook several times a day to see what my friends and family are doing there. Some people might consider that silly!!

Here's wishing you all a wonderful weekend...enjoy!

Johnny Appleseed would suggest that you plant some apple trees for those who will come down this trail in the future. He was a remarkable man.

No, don't like decorations, NC is famous for every yard being decorated for every holidayDoes anyone give their house a "fall cleaning" ? Not really just all year cleaning!Extra Credit Question:

House
Would you want it to be:

6 or 700Do you usually:

Stay under ? Go over ?
Use them all ?

Just for Fun:

Today's Question(s):

How many of you put up special decorations outside or inside for fall ?
It's Spring here now but in the Autumn nothing special happens, as there are few deciduous trees so no, we don't decorate. When I lived in Canada, I'd decorate for Halloween & Thanksgiving but not for Fall.

Does anyone give their house a "fall cleaning" ? It's more an ongoing thing - clean throughout the year, whatever needs cleaning. Otherwise it gets out of hand.

Extra Credit Question:

The "Extra Fairy" is going to stop by your home today. She is going to whisk you away to be an "Extra" on any TV show you want

Which TV show would you chose ? CSI.

Would you want it to be:

Just a walk on ?
or
A speaking part ?
Neither. I'd want to be a corpse. To see how "dead" I could look.

Bonus Question:
For those of us with cell phones:

Do you know how many minutes your cell plan has ? I'm on an Account - I pay what I use and can see my account summary and detail online. I prefer that as I like to keep track of what I use and what time periods to avoid, to save money. My cell phone company doesn't offer this option anymore, to new customers. I prefer it to the vague $xx/month and the credit mysteriously gets used up real quick but you don't know how it all disappeared.

Just for Fun:

What silly things do you or have you done to amuse yourself ? Built a small town with my kids' old Lego. I was supposed to be packing it all away but got carried away with playing with it. It's still not packed away.

Today in History:
1772 - New Jersey passes bill requiring a license to practice medicine
1892 - Diamond Match Co patented book matches
1962 - "The Beverly Hillbillies" aired on CBS-TV. U.S. “Come and listen to the story ’bout a man named Jed...” Loved this show. There's something so comforting about the old shows.
1964 - "Gilligan’s Island" began its 98-show run on CBS. Another favourite. I loved the Howells.
1968 - 1st broadcast of "Hawaii Five-O" on CBS-TV Loved this one too. The old Honolulu.

Word of the Day:
traduce \truh-DOOS; -DYOOS\ , transitive verb:
1. To expose to contempt or shame by means of false statements or misrepresentation; to represent as blamable; to vilify.

Today is:
National Pancake Day Aw gee! Missed this one! Might have to have a belated celebration of it tomorrow morning. Blueberry Pancakes for brekkie - mmmm!
Record Player Day I remember those! But I'm happier with my thousands of songs on my laptop which I can access so easily without worrying about scratching records.
Johnny Appleseed Day
National Food Service Employees Day
Rocky Horror Picture Show Day

Today's Question(s):

How many of you put up special decorations outside or inside for fall ? Definitely. We put up quite the scary display.

Does anyone give their house a "fall cleaning" ? No, not really. I change the clothes in my dresser (replace t-shirts with mufflers, gloves, etc.)

Extra Credit Question:

The "Extra Fairy" is going to stop by your home today. She is going to whisk you away to be an "Extra" on any TV show you want

Which TV show would you chose ? "Medium"

Would you want it to be:

Just a walk on ?
or
A speaking part ? Small

Bonus Question:
For those of us with cell phones:

Do you know how many minutes your cell plan has ? Not really. I have over 4,000 rolled-over minutes. That tells you how often I call people. I bought it for two reasons: 9-1-1 (medical issues), and to call my husband for specifics.

Just for Fun:

What silly things do you or have you done to amuse yourself ? Uh-oh!

Today in History:

1962 - "The Beverly Hillbillies" aired on CBS-TV. U.S. “Come and listen to the story ’bout a man named Jed...” I still remember talking about it at school next day.
1964 - "Gilligan’s Island" began its 98-show run on CBS.
1968 - 1st broadcast of "Hawaii Five-O" on CBS-TV

Record Player Day
Johnny Appleseed Day
National Food Service Employees Day
Rocky Horror Picture Show Day Enjoyed the experience back in '79, but seeing it once was enough.
Have a good weekend, everyone!
