You won't hurt my feelings about that, ha ha. I'm very proud to have been able to move up to the finer things in life such as deli peanut butter. Not that I have much more money, it's simply worth moving up to.

I'll flat out admit the truth: Except for the fact that I listen to loud music, I really am kind of a little old lady driver plus my navigational skills are pathetic.
Going to Tally myself was kind of a big deal.
Oh, and everything went fine, even though it was extremely foggy.

I feel that way about business travel. Last year was the first time I'd ever stayed in a motel by myself. Last week I commuted to Miami by plane and had to rent a car and drive through Miami traffic unassisted. Talk about a rush!

No, we can't get this moved to the Food forum but
the other day I bought some of those real hard bones that are hollow in the middle and a jar of PB (low fat kind) to stuff the bones - for my dogs! They have such a hard time, the PB dried up and it just falls out in little specks everywhere. As for the humans, my husband says he loves PB. Buy it and you can be sure he won't touch it. I've ended up dumping several jars over the years.
My son and I like Chinese and Thai and Mexican and my H hates it all. Oh well.

I'm kind of a kook too because I've never eaten peanut butter and jelly together. I will eat them separately, but I just can't bring myself to combine the two.

I recently entertained friends from Australia for a week. They had PB&J for the first time too. He hated it and she loved it. Other new things they tried: Reeses PB Cups, corned beef hash, and SF pudding. I tried vegemite!
He loved the Reeses and said it was just so wrong but it tasted so right! Still laughing about that one!

yummmmmmmmmm peanut butter and jelly.....YAY
I like strawberry preserves or peach preserves best with peanut butter. Karla....I think you were very brave to try something new....some peeps never want to try something they have never tried before! YAY for you.
In college that was called survival food! I loved getting care packages with a jar of peanut butter and a jar of jelly. We used to laugh about it being lunch and dessert all in one sandwich....except most of the time we ate it on crackers because we didn't have any bread in the dorm room. And sometimes off the spoon when we were out of crackers too. ::::giggle:::
