My very own invention: A reeses peanut butter cup...topped with some home made raspberry jam.
Also...eating a banana and cheddar cheese is great. Also raisins and cheddar cheese is great.

OK I remembered another one. I used to date this guy who was Danish and who also happened to be my son's scoutmaster. This was moons ago. Well, you know how Cubans love black beans? My grandmother used to make some for me every so often. The first time he saw them he thought it was the grossest thing on earth. And then, after a few drinks, he tasted it and loved it.
This guy used to live in the NY the first year we were dating. Then he moved to Ohio and we continued a long distance relationship. Every time he came to NY (2x/mth) and I went out to Ohio, we had to have beans. He learned to eat them sober too. :-))

My son has done parasailing, water skiing, snow skiing, jetskiing, scuba diving, and some other nonsense
I envy people who can actually DO those things. I get the jitters just watching.

vpcats
not to give you even more jitters
I am advanced scuba certified and cavern certified have been as deep as 143' and I don't swim
doll lady(the other carla) - thanks to my "new food" program with the kids I have tried green beans , scallops, talipa. Because you know the first thing they ask is "what new food did you try ms karla? and I have this issue with telling the truth so I am "stuck" lol
Being such a picky eater I actually "starved" when we spent 4 days in New Orleans I ended up driving through rallys for a burger it was the only non-spiced thing I could find
ok here is a challenge !!!
I challenge everyone to try something new this week be it food or a new experience.
For those shy folks maybe saying "hi" to someone you don't know and food issue folks a new food.
I will start a new thread for the challenge
karla

Hmm, short of bugs, insects and some organs (yes, I've had gizzards, pig ears, pig's feet and chicken stomach!) I think I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to foods. I guess it'll have to be a new experience then!

What about me Ms. Karla? I'm neither shy nor a picky eater. Should I simply shut up for a change?
