Default Today's Pet Peeve 4 Oct 09

Bananas. They are only perfectly ripe for my taste for a single day.

I have been blessed. As long and they are not green tasting and have not turned brown I'm OK with them. I hate it when I peel one that has lots of bad spots when the peel looks perfect.

I only buy them when they are slightly green. Once they get all yellow............I can't eat them but hubby does.
So I save the rotten ones for him.

Same here.
But we both love bananas so they usually go fast!

Yeah, that just drives me bananas! But they'll stay fresh when you put 'em in a Pina Colada..

You can't judge a book by it's cover, and you definitely cannot judge a banana by its cover.. so who cares what it looks like on the outside.. you're not gonna eat the peel, right?

Actually, I do eat bananas everyday, so they'll get consumed before they get too ripened.
