lol Marksman84! Reminds me of my grandparent's outdoor toilet. My grandfather would cut out squares of newspaper and stick them on a thick piece of wire. There! There's your Toilet Paper! He died never having bought a roll of TP in his life.

He'd do that with magazines too but they were hopeless as TP! Anything glossy and it just .... well, you can imagine ... I won't go into too much detail on that one

It's only Northern for me!

My grandpa used to make sure I only used 2 sheets I was 3, OK?? They were very frugal

Nothing like having the daily headline smeared across your rear! When I was a kid you learned the technique... you rubbed the paper 'sheets' together and it made them a little less sharp. WoW... imagine getting a paper cut down there...

A word of caution must be brought up at this time. If you’re thinking of using magazines be sure to remove the staples first. Ouch!
