Did you know... over 1,000 birds a year die from smashing into windows?

Poor birds.

Dang, that's sad!

We came home yesterday, to find a dead buzzard in our back yard, I wonder if he smashed into one of our windows!!!

Makes me wonder and think of the movie "The Birds" (I think??)
could it be an accident really or is there something more behind that?

That number has got to be low! I have at least one or two a week slam into my windows. Last week, it was the cutest little owl. Lucky for him, he only stunned himself, and flew off after a few minutes.

They used to do that at my friend's house a lot - one of those huge plate glass windows and they lived out in a wooded area.

Yesterday on my walk there was a tree that was packed with baby birds - it freaked me out - they were so loud and insistent. Felt like throwing up on them just to keep them quiet!

Yeah, my office window claims about one bird per week.

Maybe they're trying to warn me of something?
