Whoever has Fred - time to send him to my house!

Today's Question(s):
I can't believe I forgot to ask

Did any of our QOTD family do or plan to do the big " Fall cleaning" ? Yes, starts with windows, inside & out so I can put those storm windows on that I have mentioned in the past. Then anything washable -curtains, some drapes, bedding (blankets, comforters, if washable) etc... I leave windows open most of the spring/summer/early fall so any dust must go. Closets get vacuumed while I'm switching out wardrobes. Fireplaces get swept and professionally cleaned, if necessary. The list is long. FRED!!!!! Ditch Alaskan Mutt and get your be-hind back here!

What is your biggest "Fall cleaning project" ? The yard! As many others have also mentioned, the leaves need to be raked (almost done), plants cut back and a final mow. Hard for many to believe but I am so happy when that first permanent snow comes. The trashman just came and when he saw all the bags of leaves he looked at my house with the worst scowl. (Had to peak out the window when I heard him coming) Hey, - speak to Mother Nature (see where that gets you)!!

Bonus Question:
I just realized Thanksgiving is only 23 days away !!

Will you be having Turkey Day at your home or will you be going somewhere? I'll be with friends but this year no turkey. It's such a hastle for the host to make that we are doing an Italian Thanksgiving (our version) - Baked Ziti, Lasagna, veggie dishes, great salads, excellent wine and of course, Pumpkin Pie!! I offered to make lutefisk but no takers!!

Extra Credit Question:
In honor of National Sandwich Day

What was the last sandwich you ate ? Pastrami/cheese

What is your all time favorite sandwich ? BLT

I was going to do that this past weekend, but everything kept.. Falling.... I think that's why they call it Fall cleaning.. so I decided to put it off until spring. - Usually "Fall Cleaning" for me is, when the leaves fall from my trees in my yards, which is all year long, I clean.

What is your biggest "Fall cleaning project" ?
Vacuuming the carpet?

Bonus Question:
I just realized Thanksgiving is only 23 days away !!

Will you be having Turkey Day at your home or will you be going somewhere?
Thanksgiving - for me it's everyday... Whenever somebody Gives me somethng, I say Thanks! - Actually yes, I am grateful for all the blessings God has given me, and Lord bless everybody else here on these forums, and bless this food for us.. Oh wait.. I gotta wait for the food.. Sorry, I didn't mean to get carried away. Yes, we will be having our traditional Thanksgiving day at my parents' house.

Extra Credit Question:
In honor of National Sandwich Day

What was the last sandwich you ate ?

Since we did MAJOR cleaning back when we put the house on the market in July, and have tried to keep it that way for prospective buyers since, there really isn't a need for it this year.

What is your biggest "Fall cleaning project" ?

Will you be having Turkey Day at your home or will you be going somewhere?
We have no idea yet. It's still 23 days away.

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last sandwich you ate ?
Roast Beef last night for dinner. (or supper since it was just sandwiches)

What is your all time favorite sandwich ?
Grilled Cheese

Have a terrific Tuesday, and don't forget to vote if you haven't already done so.

What is your biggest "Fall cleaning project" ?
Only project we have is to clean it out and move it to Tenn.

Bonus Question:
I just realized Thanksgiving is only 23 days away !!

Will you be having Turkey Day at your home or will you be going somewhere?
We always have Thanksgiving dinner at our house. I handle the turkey. I've done it the traditional way, deep fried but this 2 hour turkey recipe has become our favorite.
2 HOUR TURKEY
I will also make chocolate pie and a dish that my SIL calls Sweet Potato Jerky. Sweet potatoes cooked so long with so much brown sugar that they are more like caramels than potatos.

Extra Credit Question:
In honor of National Sandwich Day

What was the last sandwich you ate ?
#8 fron Jimmy Johns yesterday. Roast beef, ham, provolone, lettuce, mayo

What is your all time favorite sandwich ?
Ham & swiss on polish rye from Helen's Polish deli. The ham and swiss you can get anyplace but you could spread last week's garbage on that bread and it would be good.

Fall cleaning project?
My closet. I don't like to it in the summer because geckos might be hiding in there! Geckos are pretty much gone now. So I no longer have that excuse!

Turkey day?
not sure of our plans. I will either be cooking or we will go to a restaurant. My husband & I took my MIL to Lowry's last year. (Had to make reservations ahead of time.) It was absolutely wonderful. We had never gone out on Thanksgiving before, but it worked out great. (Anytime I don't have to cook works for me, but it truly was a wonderful meal.)

Last sandwich?

Thursday night. Ate a barbecued sandwich.
