I dont like people butting into my biz, but theres a difference between being nosey and just being conversational. And dont tell me how to bake a cake or make a pot roast!

My roommate falls into the "nosey" catagory---has to know why the neighbors had a fight, etc. That irrates me to no end. I'm pretty open but I hate when people like that pry.

I improvise. I use the recipes as a guidline for what I need and go from there. Usually turns out pretty good.

The peeve I have about that is how everything seems to call for only 1 lb of meat. When youre feeding 5,6, 8 or 10 people, you have to double or triple up.
How about packaging that says '4 servings'? Yeah right, maybe if they were little kids, no way that little amount is gonna fill 4 adults!
