Kate (of Jon & Kate) was being interviewed last week and in response to a question asked, she just started interviewing herself. Since that I have heard many people interview themselves on the radio and tv and it is driving me nuts.

Q: Why can't people just answer a question?

A: Why can't people just answer a question? Maybe they just need time to think of the answer. Do I like it when they begin to interview themselves when they are being interviewed? No, but would I rather they just blurt out what comes to mind? Sometimes. Do I think there is a better way to handle an interview question that one is ill-prepared to answer? Yes. Do I think that people will read this thread and get it? I hope so!

I'm not sure where to go with that actually.....well thinking about it I might enjoy listening to someone who talks to themselves if the subject has humor or is interesting. Then again depending on my mood I've found myself just shutting off everything around me and not paying attention to anything but what I'm thinking about so I suppose it goes both ways

Actually, I think these people like to be interviewed, but don't want to answer any question. They just want to be seen!
