Zulu, that way when someone speaks to me in a language I don't understand, they won't understand me either. Tit for tat.

i did a thread on creating a new global language.. with all the inovations that have occured in the last 100 years wouldn't you have thought that the people of the world could all speak a common language by now!! but no we humans have to speak like 100 different languages it just does not makes sence.. all that needs to be done is invent an entirely new language from scratch.. have linguist from all the major countries invent an easy to learn language and employ it in the schools around the world over time it would become the primary language.. it would bring the people of the world closer together..
and don't tell me about esperaza it's an old language that never took hold !!! with all the predjudisim in the world today it would make sense to have all the major countries invent the new world language to eliminate any bias associated with useing an already spoken language..
it's pretty amazing to me that we humans can send rovers to mars or ram orbiters into astroids and have a world wide comunication system!!! but we have to all communicate with different languages the world would be more produtive place with one universal language..

Mandarin because China is a superpower while Mexico is not, which is why on the world stage I see it as being more of an important language to learn than Spanish.

I saw something a few days ago about the Muslim religion and population growth. I'm now leaning toward Arabic. Yes, Spanish absolutely, but you're going to want to definitely add Arabic as a third language.
