It's all my fault, I take a bath and soak for hours. A motel is the only place that never seems to run out of hot water. Pure luxury,

The plug is almost always in the "plugged" position? I've traveled a lot and haven't found that to be the case.

My biggest pet peeve about motels/hotels is that the light bulbs over the bed are too dim to read by.

Life in a motel/hotel is normally one night or day ~ I can deal with just about any issue they have for problems. Except! I don’t want it noisy, hearing people in the next room, or outside traffic noise from the highway, I don’t like it when there isn’t enough washcloths or towels seems like we get shorted more often then not. Hot water isn’t hot. And most important and when I’ll walk out of the place of lodging without paying is when the lobby or rooms smell of cigarette and cigar smoke! If someone wants to smoke ~ take it outside away from the door and let the wind blow it away.

I find this totally discusting because my mind wanders to the thought of how much of the person before me's bodily secretions are in that ankle deep water???? Very sorry for that visual!!

I've never stayed in a motel, and the last hotel I stayed in was a fancy one and the room had a separate bathtub and shower (they were next to each other). Heck, I haven't been out of this state since in seven years.

I do have that problem at home, however, as my father tends to play with the button that sends the water out the faucet or out the shower head.

your cleaning staff will do that in almost every hotel (well at least all I've been in I have noticed that) no big deal really. Keeps the bugs from traveling and having free access to rooms
