Im a listener. But Id like to talk every once and a while. Jeeze Louise. If I wanted to listen to a monologue Id watch Tv. The programs are usually more interesting.

I know Im wierd. But I dont like talking to the life of the party. I like to find those hidden treasures sitting alone way back in the corner.

Ive met the ones that talk. Those are the ones that treat you like noise. They stop then they pick up their conversation just like they hit pause on the VCR.

I do like to give peeps the benifit of the doubt tho. Sometimes they monopolize the conversation because they have noone to talk to and no one lisens to them. When they finally find some one who listens they start talking and they cant stop.

That's when I decided that only people who care about me and are there when I need them are the ones who deserve my energy. Everyone else is outside the circle and should be dealt with accordingly. Bottom line, don't give your energy to people who make you feel invisible. Giving up your energy is like giving away your power. Only reserve it for those who deserve it.

Definitly a cookie worthy post. BTDT. I feel exactly as you do. I ve learned in my old age that there are friends and there are aquaintences. A while back the **** hit the fan and I found out that I had neither.
