Today's Question(s):

Will you be watching the 2010 Winter Olympics that begin Friday February 12th ?
I will be watching...but not glued.

Which are your favorite events that you will try not to miss ?

Do you know anyone who has every been to any Olympics ? We have friends that retired a few yrs back, who try and make them all. I think they have a pretty good track record.

Bonus Question:

Do you have any set Valentine Day plans ? So far, just spending the day together. I guess, plans will depend greatly on the weather.

Because Valentine Day is on a Sunday this year, will you be celebrating on Saturday night instead ? Why not both?

Extra Credit Question:

When was the last time you wanted to say to a visitor " Ok time to go home " ? It's been awhile. Before we moved from Ca., we had a neighbor who just never knew when it was time to leave.

Just for Fun:

Do you have a fire extinguisher in you home ?I'm guessing there are at least 4 or 5 placed around the house.

Thanks for posting early again, Karla; south-central Wisconsin finally got the snow today, so I'll be leaving earlier than usual, and I'm glad to have the chance to stop by here before heading out. Good luck to our snow-bound east coast friends!

Today's Question(s):

Will you be watching the 2010 Winter Olympics that begin Friday February 12th?

Wow, is it that time already? I had no idea. I doubt that I'll watch any of it, unless the spouse happens to have the broadcast on when I walk through the bedroom.

Which are your favorite events that you will try not to miss?

Not applicable, I don't really watch any of them.

Do you know anyone who has ever been to any Olympics?

I don't think so. It would take a whole lot of money to take that much time off work, to travel the kind of distances involved and to find lodging and food for the duration, and I don't really hang out with wealthy folks much.

Bonus Question:

Do you have any set Valentine Day plans?

No, not really. We've got the regular monthly planning meeting for the convention that we volunteer on, and that's about it. If I have time, I might go out later this week to look for greeting cards for the spouse and our kids, but I won't lose any sleep over it if I don't have time.

Extra Credit Question:

When was the last time you wanted to say to a visitor " Ok, time to go home "?

This morning, when I woke up and looked out my window to see all the snow on the driveway. It's time for the snow to go home for another 8 or 9 months!

Just for Fun:

Do you have a fire extinguisher in you home?

Yup, several of them, as a matter of fact. We keep one in the kitchen, one in the basement and one in the garage. It's kind of like insurance: you hope not to ever need it, but if you do, you want to have it in place.

lol not sure I haven't called for reservations yet I will see how crowded they are expecting to be

Extra Credit Question:

When was the last time you wanted to say to a visitor " Ok time to go home " ?
Yesterday !!! Hubby is a computer programmer/developer and a friend of his just went back to school for guess
Well when he has trouble with the assignments he comes over for help
Yesterday "class" began at 1:45 he didn't leave till 9:05. Good thing I moved class into the formal living room instead of the family room where they use to meet
How could you not realize 7 hours had gone by

Just for Fun:

Do you have a fire extinguisher in you home ?
I think there is one in the garage, hey maybe next time "computer class" is held I need to get it from the garage
