In all states you are required to wear a seat belt but in some of these states you do not have to wear a helmet on a motorcycle.

I know!!! That's the way it is in my state.....the police gave my cousin two seperate tickets for not wearing her seat belt, yet the yahoo sitting next to her at the red light on his motorcycle snickers as he drives off without a helmet or safety restraints. Makes complete sense.

gee, I thought that was the law in all states.

It should be. I know I for one wouldn't get on a cycle without a helmet.

That must apply to Az, theres no helmet law there. But should be, that helmet protects you. There are bike helmet laws, I dont know why they dont enforce motorcycle helmet laws.

Makes absolutely no sense and Jezer's post was quite on target - but then again if one is of legal age I tend to have a problem anyway with someone telling me I 'have' to wear one. Now kids - you bet and my DS was always buckled in. Seeing people with babies on their laps However; if they are going to say one HAS to wear a seatbelt for 'their' personal safety, then the same rules should apply to motocycles and wearing helmets should also be made mandatory.
