I don't know Lacey. The term "Foodie" wouldn't bother me,,, there are a certain type of foodie... their names begin with a "V", that really tend to get on my nerve, but that's a group of people, not a name. Anyway... I do know what you mean. Simple things get people all uptight. Crazy!

Well.. I don't know about "Foodie", but since I don't have any feathers to ruffle, I've gotten used to being called Baldie.. at least it's still better than some of the other names I've been called before..

Darn, I just read a certain forum's thread and have decided, after reading various links, etc., that I cannot be considered a foodie. I'm just a plain old fashioned fixer and eater. And here I thought that I was something more, oh, I don't know, better? Oh, well, here's to all you foodies out there. Enjoy yourselves. Maybe I can be a little bit of a foodie. I do like to collect cookbooks.

"Foodie" Wow u guys have educated me. I have only heard this word once on a movie. I think the term is rather benign, but if it is vexing to some. I wouldn't use it on them. "Can't we all just get along?"

It might depend on the context in which you used the term. Did you remind her that yesterday was "foodie-on-a-stick" day????
