Before I do my QOTD I want to reply to a rep I got yesterday. After I mentioned my wife's job with income tax was done, panama joy said it would be a good time to pamper her. Joy, I couldn't find a post from you so I could DM you so I'll brag on myself here. lol I pamper her all the time. But her kids say I spoil her. lol Every day she worked, when she walked in our door her cup of coffee was sitting by her recliner, hot and ready. And I was in the kitchen fixing supper. That was after I cleaned the house and did the laundry. Even when she wasn't working I helped with the cleaning and laundry. I told her I do it for two reasons. (1) She means the world to me and (2) the "fringe benefits" on her days off aint bad at all!!! lol

Today's Question(s):

If you had to give 15 minute informative speech what subject would you chose to speak about ? Why I have no idea on what to give a 15 minute speech on.

Bonus Question:

Do you fold or roll them before putting them away ? Roll

Extra Credit Question:

I can think of a few that wont be mentioned in here. But one might be on the importance of NOT trying to do shortcuts and trying to save a couple of bucks when it comes to remodeling your home.

Socks? With mine (dont laugh) I tie 2 pairs at a time together with a ponytail thing. Havent had a loss yet.

I dont get the paper, we can read it online for free.

Today's Question(s):

If you had to give 15 minute informative speech what subject would you chose to speak about ?

The thought of giving a long speech is enough to make me throw up from nerves.

Bonus Question:

When doing laundry do you have a system for sorting/matching socks ?

There's always soooo much laundry around here so it depends on my mood. If I'm up to it, I'll sort and match. Otherwise, I'll just grab up the singles of whoever they belong to and they can find the pairs and do what they want with them.

Do you fold or roll them before putting them away ?
Just roll the tops of them so they stay attached.

Extra Credit Question:
In Honor of Ellis Island Family History Day

Do any of our QOTD folks have family members that came through Ellis Island ?
No, mine took the extra long cruise and came through Fremantle in Australia.

Today is:
National Cheeseball Day Never had one of these but I wouldn't mind trying one some time.
Newspaper Day I wonder if online news will kill off the newspaper industry?
Ellis Island Family History Day How scary that must have been for those people. Slow transport, slow mail delivery, no phones to keep in touch with the old country.
Mustang Day I'm not much of a car person but I make an exception for Mustangs - I wouldn't mind owning a '66 coupe.
Record Store Day I still like going to the "record" store - now full of CDs. Not much of a music-downloader. I like my CDs.
Blah! Blah! Blah ! Day I'm not much of a blah'er
