Unloading the truck was much faster than loading it, but as for unpacking boxes, it has almost been a month now and I am still not fully unpacked.

I'm impressed. Seriously. I got about 90 percent of it done the first week, then slacked off and didn't finish the last of it for at least a month. Decorating was more fun

The question for me, is how much did you all spend your first month?? Good lord, my husband and I were going over our bank statement tonight and we can't believe how much money has gone out to Home Depot and Lowes! Our house really didn't even need much work!

We have barely tackled the majority of our bedroom closet boxes or our baby's nursery. I would say we are 70% unpacked and it has been almost a month. I guess that could be because we are always at Home Depot!!

It's going on 12 years for me. I still have boxes that I packed when I first moved to NC in Dec. 1994. They have been transferred to 4 attics and two storage units. Now they are awaiting one more year before we move back to NY before we actually open them. Don't even know what's in most of them. But it can't be that important if we've done without it for 11 years.

LOL!!! We just unpacked a box that we never opened since we moved into our house in NY 14 yrs ago. Tossed out most of what was in there but did keep a few things. Hopefully, it won't be 14 yrs before all of these boxes are opened!

Son't be TOO impressed, I still have loose ends from work I am tying up and I am procrastinating by being on this board & unpacking!!!!
My kids' rooms are the worst, I am sooo tempted to just sneak the toy boxes to the dumpster!!!!!
