I was just reading the news and it said this week's jackpot is 99m Euros, that's about 125m USD. And I was thinking what an incredible amount that is. And what it must be like having that kind of money from one day to the next, without having worked for it accordingly.

I read the other day that various studies have shown that people who had won the lottery were not happier than before. Only at the beginning there is a relatively short high, but it wears off quite fast and a lot of people just can't handle that kind of luck.

Have you ever won any lottery and did it improve your lives?

If I had I wouldn't be living a vicarious life here on CD. I would be relaxing in my villa in Spain sipping a glass of chardonnay as I soaked up the sun on my veranda, reflecting on my good luck and wondering what the poor people were doing.

Nah, you'd be living the luxury life of Riley in Spain and be on CD occasionally rubbing it in, wouldn't you...everyone else would...

Nah. I might even invite some of you to come over for a visit and we'd have an OT/QOTD party.
