You too? I thought they only did that on my street. After the next heavy rain the holes are back and back bigger.

Noma they have had huge crews out daily and now it's teeth chattering time driving.

Oklahoma is ranked 46th on roads. They patch all the time, and even the small rural country roads, like ours, are insanely horrible.

If you are not a local, you would most likely hit holes a foot wide and half a foot deep. For me, it's like a game, I know where they all are and I swerve in and out. LOL.

The counties with a casino have decent hwys, but for the most part, we laugh at our road crews. Big, fat bubba's, drinking water by the side of road.

Roads here aren't bad. Road crews are out working already. It's always a hassle every summer as all the roads are two lane and traffic is one way on those stretches under repair but in the long run, it's worth it.

We're pretty lucky where I live, too. I thought the potholes were going to be godawful after we went through a the blizzards this winter, but so far in my part of town the repairs have held up well.

Don't you think we ought to be able to scoop up those tar bars in the gulf and use them to patch the roads?

While we still have some over in Boquete that look like Big Mike's pic, one reason I couldn't go my normal route home for a bit is that they're repaving roads - all over the area. Was a big hassle especially when they were doing my road (couldn't take my 2nd & paved option to town), but once they opened it and I saw how it looked it was like WOW and I forgot about the weeks worth of diesel I spent in 2 trips to town going my '3rd' alternate route from my house - and the 3rd alternate way 1 1/2 years ago wasn't even an option before, as they had essentially turned a wide rock footpath into a paved road.
