Default Peeve of the day-June 3,2010

Previews of the summer replacement shows-the themes seem macabre. Sad as we know the audience they're playing to.

Ya seriously - I keep thinking the TV previews are movie trailers for the new vampire or other horror blockbusters. What gives? The audience they're catering to doesn't include moi

All the more reason to love Netflix. I really don't watch much network tv anymore.

I think TV is playing to a younger audience that just doesn't include me anymore.

This is one reason I chose the cable provider I did. One offered all the network stations from the States, while the other (the one I chose) has certain channels that pull shows from the networks and plays them. I chose that provider, because non-US commercials (& not a ton of them) and the networks had been going downhill for a while. I do have the movie package which includes like TCM, MGM so I can watch the older movies, as well as tons of other movie channels for current releases. Haven't had network TV in forever and sounds like that's a good thing.

Yes crap TV at it's finest. What is up with all the vampire stuff? It is all garbage in general.
