Ok I stayed away for a few days, I was a little offended by Rainbow, but realize you were trying to help. My experience has been that on other sites the topics are often based about s*x. I enjoy this forum, and many of you have become friends. We openly discuss a variety of topics on this forum, but little is revealed about the little things that make you, you. Things, like your day to day activities are interesting to me, and do mold your thoughts and opinions. I am completely facinated by the internet. Complete strangers on oposite ends of the country can connect so easily, and really how much alike we are. I feel united as people
Today, I cleaned house. Watered the lawn. Checked the forum several times. Had a family dinner. Laundry. Laundry. Laundry. Watched TV. Went to bed.

I have a 4 day/10 hour schedule too!!! Isn't it the BEST?! I LOOOVE IT!!!!!
It's a very rare thing so I had to respond! Do you work at night too? My hours are 3pm - 1:30 am The BEST!!!
Hi to everyone else!
I wish everyone would put where they're from so that you can see it at the top right of the post. Since this is a forum about place that always frustrates me that so few put it! I read a post & think "where are you from??!!"

Work sleep eat. Work sleep eat. Work sleep eat. In the last 7 days I worked 82 hours. What little spare time I've had recently I do stuff with my dogs (compete in agility and train), try to keep up with housecleaning and the garden and when I have time I actually do have a social life.
Female, 48, Michigan. Since you asked. I don't put that in my header because I'm not actually "from" here.

I figured that might be why people don't put it - most people don't live where they're from so they don't know what to put! I'm not from Miami, but that's where I am so that's what I put! Seems to make more sense...

Yes, and since so many people on this forum are here because they are planning a move, they're not seeing their current location as permanent. I'm betting those who love where they are and plan on staying put are more likely to include a location.

Ahhh but that's part of the fun elfyum. If people are like you and me, you really have to pay attention to figure out where they actually live.

I get up at 7AM
Get ready for work.
Stop by the bodega on the corner and order café con la leche-Grande
Walk 4 blocks to the subway (usually say good morning to the homeless guy who lives on our street). Get on the N train and ride to work. The train crosses over the Manhattan bridge, so I get a view of downtown NYC on the way to work.
Walk from Subway station to Blimpies for more coffee. Call my best friend in Nashville and talk to him while he drives to work. Then I walk to my office in Midtown Manhattan.
Drone in front of computer all day. Attend meetings-prepare documents etc...blah blah blah.
Ride subway back home. Go into Apt. and pet cats. Check and see if wife is in a good mood. That may determine what I do next
Go for a walk for my diabetes.
Eat dinner and just chill (watching HGTV or Food Network or TLC or Discovery).
Start the whole exciting process over again.

I am a Utah girl, 32, married 13 years, 4 kids (3 girls, 1 boy). I don't know how to put my hometown and state on my information, but I too wonder where people are from.
I started a new job this week. Worked today for 4 hours. Kids are out of school for 3 weeks. No idea what to do with them. More laundry (the chore that never ends). Check the forum, (hopin' to put off the laundry)
mhogan, always dreamed of visiting New York. I imagine it must be so different from my life in suburbia.
Lehi, I've always wondered where your screen name came from?
Everyone else, keep postin. I love the conversation

If you look up and to the left on this page you will see "User CP". If you click on that and then go to "edit profile" under "Control Panel" you will be able to enter info there.
