Can I finish my last year of high school in Ottawa even though I live in Gatineau? (university)

Hello,

I am currently in my last year of high school. I've been schooling in Toronto and had to move due to family reasons. I found out that if I went to school in Gatineau I would have to do two years of CEGEP, which is something I really do not want to do considering that I have done most of my schooling in Ontario and it has just never been part of my plans. It takes me only five minutes to get into Ottawa because I live really close to one of the bridges. Is there anyway I can get to finish my last year in Ottawa without having to fake my address I know faking my address is fraud which is why I do not want to do it.

I would contact the Ottawa-Carleton school board and ask that would be your best bet.

Are you in grade 11 or grade 12 right now?
Why not just do two years of CEGEP study? You'll get advanced standing if you go to university in Ontario and it will then take you only 3 years to graduate. In effect you will have gone for the same number of years, but tuition will end up cheaper since CEGEP is free. Or you can go to university in Quebec and get dirt cheap tuition.
