So William Amos is in the news again. A couple of days ago he apparently urinated while his camera was on. Not sure if it was in plain view (probably not) but it was clear to those online what he was doing.
Two reporters this morning (one in Montreal, one in Ottawa) are saying he actually peed in his coffee cup while on a call that he didn't want to interrupt.
While he is not my "member" , he does represent the next riding over from mine, which begins about 1 km from where I sit.

apparently he is stepping down from some parliamentary secretary duties to "get some help", although for what is not clear, he certainly needs to know how to tell if his camera is on or off, but apart form that the two cases are not that bad, worse things happen

It's not a serious crime of course, but there is a pattern there that is at least slightly concerning.
There are 338 MPs who have been working virtually for over a year. It's happened twice in just over one month - both times to him.
Apparently the senior Trudeau did it in the Speakers' Chair in Parliament back in the day, and with his WIFE, Margaret. No cell phones or even security cams back then. Apparently they asked the "Master at Arms" to just get lost in the galleries for awhile?? Harkening back to the sixties. Fun times were had by all. Relax, it's Canada. And especially in Quebec I don't think his career is in jeopardy. "Weiner" or not.
You Canadians are more and more on the cutting edge of things and this no exception. As an American I commend Mr. Amos for a new and unique way of adding transparency to politics....
Not enough of it here in the States....
