I can agree. Theists sometimes argue that we unbelievers ought to look for the positives in the Holy Books. You know you can still believe in the respect for mother earth and still be an atheist. Being an atheist means that you do not believe in a supreme deity, having respect for mother earth is not believing in a deity, it's just having a respect for nature and what it provides you. Wicca just takes that respect one step further and makes it a belief.

The overriding so-called respect that theists claim they have for "nature" is more like their insistence in using it once again to artificially prove & prop up their overriding but severely limited belief system. They insist that all we enjoy, every pretty flower and fuzzy little rodent with oversized & cute eyes is, naturally, because of God's overwhelming love & infinite Creativity, my children of the Universe!

And if you choose to disaffect or reject that unHoly de-Blessed Interpretation, well then... you know where you're headed, don'tcha now?
