From Sailor Dave:
As of May 31, 2010, there have been 53 U.S. reports of death among females who have received Gardasil. Twenty nine of these reports have been confirmed and 24 remain unconfirmed due to no identifiable patient information in the report such as a name and contact information to confirm the report. Confirmed reports are those that scientists have followed up on and have verified the claim. In the 29 reports confirmed, there was no unusual pattern or clustering to the deaths that would suggest that they were caused by the vaccine.

Bolded and italicized for emphasis: To put it in a less passive voice:

Of the millions of people who received the vaccine in the USA, there've been 29 confirmed deaths, and none of them could be attributed to gardasil.

In other words - it's more likely that 5 of them died from drug overdose, another 5 in car accidents, another 5 due to cancer or other serious illness that they would've gotten anyway, 5 drowned, and 4 were beaten to death by abusive mates.

Note the bold in my supposition above, to emphasize that it is a supposition.

You are right on track: Science-Based Medicine » Mercola, Gardasil, and Toyota?

Second, of the deaths associated with Gardasil reported to CDC’s VAERS, the majority of them are explained. At the time of the post-licensure review published in JAMA in August of 2009, there had been 32 deaths reported following Gardasil injection occurring between 2 to 405 days after the last injection. This is the breakdown of those 32 reported deaths after investigation:
Eight of the reports were second-hand reports thatcould not be verified. Four were manufacturer reports with noidentifying information for confirmation or medical review… Causes of death (of the remaining 20) included 4 unexplained deaths, 2 cases of diabeticketoacidosis (1 complicated by pulmonary embolism), 1 case relatedto prescription drug abuse, 1 case of juvenile amyotropic lateralsclerosis, 1 case of meningoencephalitis (Neisseria meningitidisserogroup B), 1 case of influenza B viral sepsis, 3 cases ofpulmonary embolism (1 associated with hyperviscosity due todiabetic ketoacidosis), 6 cardiac-related deaths (4 arrhythmiasand 2 cases of myocarditis), and 2 cases due to idiopathic seizuredisorder.

Adding: the meningitis death was from a disease preventable with a vaccine, as was (potentially) the influenza B death.

And some people whose children die after running in the street without looking both ways and getting hit by a truck would blame the death on vaccines, Big Pharma, and the CDC.

A friend of mine was just diagnosed with stage 1b2 cervical cancer. She is 30 years old. She starts chemo today and will most likely need a hysterectomy. (She has no children yet.) I'm heartbroken for her. Watching her go through this will make me think a lot harder about vaccinating my daughter when she is older. It seems like it will never happen to you or your loved ones, until it does.

So strange that this vaccine is deemed safe for girls, but still being studied for boys...could it be that girls make better guinea pigs

It is approved for boys and girls. Insurance company coverage has nothing to do with approval for prescribing, only who is going to pay for it. Companies will have a hard time justifying coverage for females but not males.

Help protect your child with GARDASIL® [Human Papillomavirus Quadrivalent (Types 6, 11, 16, and 18) Vaccine, Recombinant] and your child.

Could it be that women are the ones who it affects with more obvious symptoms (via a lesion(s) on the cervix) and tends to be a much more crucial and life-threatening issue for the woman than the man?
