I know it might be a little hard to remember but at around what age/grade did your kids stop bringing home from school all the bugs (viruses, flus etc) known to humanity?
The school always sends a letter home advising parents to keep their sick children at home but there are always some who insist on sending them anyways.

It continues for years but once mine got to middle school it seemed less and less Although I had one home for 2 weeks in 7th grade with pneumonia- it all depends on the child really. some get sick all of the time and catch everything while others are rarely sick.

Oh great! I just hate it as soon as school starts it becomes a vicious cycle of infection. I am dreading it.

I'd say they started to get sick less often around 5th grade. By high school, they rarely got sick.

Though, I do notice I catch more things when I have computer classes or use the computer lab. I think it's because so many people use the computers. Also our classrooms are smaller than most people's kitchens. Its basically 15 girls squished around a table. Sometimes people have to get up in order for someone to travel from one end of the room to the other.

People who get sick often as adults usually have bad habits or a low immune system.

Always wash your hands before touching your face (eyes, mouth, nose) or eating food.

If it's your immune system, see your doctor for ways to strenthen it.

Just dont' touch your face while using the computers. Wait until class is over and go wash your hands before touching your face.
