See, and I would disagree with you ... I think all belly button piercings look terrible. And I have a hard time thinking anything is sexy or cute when it is associated with the belly button smell.
And I'm 24.

I am not trying to insult you, just trying to say, for the thread in general, that everyone, no matter the age, has different tastes! You'd be just as likely to dislike my tattoos.

And I still see plenty of women, young and old, trying to wear belly shirts ... Ugh!

Traditionally placed ear piercings, whenever the child asks for it. Any other body modifications must wait until the child is 18. Body mods are forever, or very hard to reverse. They aren't for kids to decide.

This is just my honest opinion, but I'm really not for face piercings or body tattoos. My daughter is 16. I told her that when she's of age, working and out of my house, she can start making decisions like that for herself. I tend to be a little old fashioned when it comes to a lot of things too. Not only that but when she starts working and has facial piercings, they'll most likely make her take them off.

Yep. However, it has nothing to do with smell for me. I just tend to find it trashy. Different strokes for different folks. I'm also 24.

My belly button does not smell nor would I let it.
That's gross..

And do piercings make your belly button smell or something?
Cause like I uh keep my body clean..

I always smell like dove shampoo and warm vanilla sugar spray.

same as getting a tattoo that is hidden, I suppose. I was in my 20's in the 90's when belly button piercing became popular, and above the belly shirts were popular. I was just wondering what the young'uns were doing these days.

As someone who has 18 piercings and 5 tattoos. (My first body piercing was at 12) I will allow my children to get tattoos and body piercings just nothing on the face. My childs aunt owns a tattoo and piercing shop so that is the only place I will allow her to go to.
