Same thing. Being exploited is degrading.

But I understand what you're saying. I just think you are splitting hairs for the sake of argument.

I anticipate two to three pages of the two of you going back and forth---like you both have in other threads.

You guys need to start bickering via DM.

Then the argument should also include men being degraded because i am sure there are young men being forced into things too due to debts and such. No i just wanted to know why kel felt that way is all :-P. And only 2 or 3 pages?

I was being conservative with that estimate.

This stuff happens. It used to be magazines now it's video. And I think you handled it fine. You know, you can probably get by with just telling your son you have a moinitor on the comp even if you don't. He won't know who's watching what and that could help keep him out of trouble.

I am grateful this wasn't a huge problem for me. Not that my son may not have seen stuff at friends houses but since it wasn't on my computer I could be blissfully ignorant . I did find a couple of nude pics, boobie shots and such, saved to the comp from time to time, but my son and his friends were all older teens and adults at that point so I just quietly deleted them and never said a word.

Furthermore, it's not necessarily a business if these are videos that were posted by the public, which is very common these days.

With the internet, the porn industry is losing money because it's all on the internet for free.

I didn't mean she had to detail it out for him. I think it should be explained that these people are being paid to have sex on camera, not have sex for sexs sake.

Isn't that fairly obvious though?

Well for what it's worth...having been a 12 year old boy....that was coming anyway.

He's curious, his friends are curious. They all know where to look. He sounds like he knows how to get around a computer. I would use monitoring but I wouldn't tell him exactly what that was. That gives you an extra 15 minutes before he figures it out himself.

So....maybe dad needs to talk to him. Does he have any questions. There are different things that could be going on, it could be curiosity, it could be desire...To give you a little piece of mind and to keep him pure at heart for a little longer, at the age of 12 it's likely that it's a greater percentage curiosity/something that's cool to be able to talk about with friends/to appear like you know something about sex, rather than desire...if that is of any comfort...
His actions shouldn't be demonised, that makes them more interesting.

One other thing to keep in mind, when you let him back on the computer - kids this age definitely know how to install their own personal web browsers (and 'hide' them on the computer) so that their web browsing won't show up in the history of the web browser you use....so keep that in mind too.
