A girl of 14 who mistakenly made her address and phone number public on Facebook while telling friends of her birthday party ended up with 21,000 promised guests.

Rebecca Javeleau sparked a police operation over fears thousands would flock to her father’s modest flat in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

I have a very touching story about something similar.

There was a lonely old veteran who invited anyone to his birthday party via posting a flyer on the bulletin board at the local grocery store.

Someone saw it and had compassion----told everyone he knew via text, twitter, etc., who passed on the message to people they knew.

Hundreds of people showed up for the old man's birthday party.

They brought their own food, drinks and chairs since they knew the old man wouldn't be pepared for them all.

He was so thrilled to have strangers care. It was a great day.
