This whole thing sounds like a figment of someone's imagination to me. If you are on the up and up, then my opinion is it's creepy for you to involve yourself in the sex life of your son and his friend in any way.

A lot of this stuff comes down to culture and how we have been brought up since there are many cultures where it is perfectly OK to marry a girl of 13, but many of us would be outraged in our own countries.
Basically, it takes all kinds to make a world and many would say "what kind of world are we heading towards where these morals are prevalent".
There is no answer to this question but there are many different opinions and many come from religious backgrounds.
What I would say however, is that similar to having relationships at work, sometimes after they have ended, they are too close for comfort and produce bad feelings. I believe the saying is that "You dont **** on your own doorstep".
