Well, if I was a granola eating, tree worshiping, child of nature who believed in free love and world peace and the cosmic goodness of the universe I'd give the old geezer a hug and whisper, "Make love, not war" in his ear.

But I'm not.

So I'd probably have the proverbial cow.

saw an article about something similar to this somewhere in the world. The father got two co workers to go with him and they castrated the old guy and then dad turned himself in. He said it was his fatherly duty.

That's one solution.....

MrFinsterRufus and I would just tell your husband it's time to go home.

You guys are cracking me up!

Maureen and Zimbo are onto something. His being 73 is a plus! The daughter will probably be a widow before the honeymoon is over!

And I had no idea PeaganMomma was married to an old geezer. You never know what to expect from those hippy chicks.

I'd tell her to change Romeo's diaper before she drops him back at the retirement village.

Alrighty... let's touch on the important thing first... WHERE the heck did you all get the cool moving smileys??!!

As to the OP's question... I would be horrified. I would ask my daughter about his life insurance. Not as a joke, but because odds are good that she would become a widow fairly soon. I would ask her what she saw in him because they couldn't possibly have anything in common. I would ask her which sperm bank she was gonna use to give me grandbabies because his little swimmers likely are too tired to do the backstroke very far .

Here's a question:

Where does Peganmama get her thread topic ideas?

Active imagination? Or real life?

Inquring minds want to know!

This answer made my day.

I saw a candid camera set-up on this once. So I think I would be just a tad suspicious and looking all round for the cameras.

What about if he is mega mega mega rich and just about to die.
Hmm
Hang on this is not the way to go
