I think taking your kids to see Santa (especially when they're babies) is really more for the parents than it is for the kid. A lot of my friends have their Santa photos for this year proudly displayed on the mantel and yet the kid is screaming in nearly all of them.

My almost 7 year old was asking if the mall Santa was fake the other day. I told her the real Santa is so busy that he has his friends help out in the mall, she was happy with that! But I think this is probably her last year of believing in him. She already said some of her classmates don't think he's real. So long as she can pretend for her baby brother a few more years I'm happy!
