Yikes.

See? That's what I mean about great NYC stories.

(Of course, that DVD could mean someone among my family/friends isn't going to get the right amount of $ on their residuals check.

OMG no. I am so claustrophobic I almost couldn't watch 127 hours. The fact that it's a TRUE story actually freaks me out more.

I think I'd have a panic attack just watching. I felt one coming on every time I'd see those trapped miners on TV too.

I'd like to clarify he was handing out the DVDs. I took two actually.

Good grief you all were busy!

Finster - I'm a huge Marilyn Manson fan... maybe I shouldn't admit that.

Ohiogirl - I'll agree about your stories. You're life seems glamorous if you ask me. Like shows you see on t.v.

I was in a Cheese shop with a friend when someone cut the cheese big time. There were only three of us in the room. My friend and I turned - it's like an automatic reaction, then you realize what you are doing. We were so shocked - who would do that!? There were only three of us in the room and it was loud!

Now as far as Valentine Day stories - I've got nothing. It's never been a big deal around here so no fun stories.

Anyone want to share a fun beauty tip?

Heres mine: Whitening Toothpaste on red pimples. It makes them significantly less red.

Good afternoon ladies! Just got home from work...well, I left about 1 1/2 hours ago but then ran to Costco, and the liquor store then ran DS to the auto shop to pick up his car from being repaired. I am the only one home. I've poured a glass of wine and it's breathing. I doubt it'll get much of a chance to do much of that though....

No Valentine's Day stories here either....Never was much into that...plus, when I was first married, we lived less than an hour away from a large University that my husband was a fan of. He is also a big basketball fan (me, not so much)...it seemed to never fail that there would be a home game that fell on Valentine's Day which he would have tickets to....It became kind of a standing joke that I went out with my girlfriend on Valentine's Day...I'm just way too practical to really enjoy lots of stuff like that. Poor DH - he's more of a romantic than me...I'm just as likely to react like " You spent HOW much???!"

I only wish I was home alone! I do have wine, though. We don't really do Valentine's Day. The last couple years we've had a heart shaped pizza at home as a family, or something like that.

After reading everyone's fun posts (and yes, please DO stay ohiogirl - you make us smile!), I've come to the conclusion that I've lead a quite uneventful life....
