Now teachers will never walk students across a bridge on a field trip. Nevermind the teen is an idiot. There shouldn't be liability for idiots.

OMG, I just realized that gives total creedence to your mom always asking "if one of your friends jumped off a bridge, would you jump too?". Hopefully this kid doesn't have too many gullible friends.

That typical parenting question came to my mind when I first heard about it too!

Yeah, I thought about that, too. I was kind of a smart aleck and had some questions if that question was asked of me. "What is under the bridge?" "How high is the bridge?" "How fast is the wind?" "How many people have already jumped?" See, if enough people had already jumped, the pile of bodies would be high enough that the fall wouldn't be very far.

I cannot wait till warmer weather.
I LOVE hot weather and by hot weather I mean HOT, like disgustingly hot weather where its like 110, BREEZY and a dry heat, oh man am I in heaven....

Thats the tank top, shorts, flip flops, let your hair down to blow in the wind and drink something from IntaJuice kind of day.

I've already been wearing flip flops, been out door hot tubbing, wearing capris...I am boycotting winter, it can go away.

Oh and I did a ride along on Thursday and hopped my first fence wearing a vest.
Granted the officer dropped me off at my friends apartment complex and they had fixed the gate door so I had to hop over it, he was like are you gonna call your friend? I just started to put my stuff through the fence and he was like you gonna hop it? I turned around and looked at him and was like hell yeah and he was like get after it then and I hopped over flawlessly and felt so proud. He was like now you know how it feels to hop a fence in a vest.
By far, best ride along ever, it was just awesome, I got to do most of the running the computer, we talked the whole time, it was like I made a new best friend, we're keeping in touch and he's going to help me get on with DCSO and work my way up. Awesometastic!!

Oh on the downside I am catching a cold and my throat hurts.

But I have HUGE potential getting on with DCSO as a detention specialist, I have connections galore.

Thought I'd stop in and say good morning to you all before I start my day....DD is home for the weekend and will most likely want to do girly things like shop and get pedicures...LOL....

Beautiful weather here today looks like.....sunny out and I'm thinking it will be mid-60's again. No complaints.

Remember to put your clocks ahead tonight!

Have a wonderful day with DD! We are getting ready to bring down a tree. Trying to decide when starting up a chainsaw on a Saturday morning is okay.

Thank you! I'm looking forward to it....I'm trying to think of somewhere "different" to go...I think there is a street in Denver (not downtown - near Bonnie Brae maybe?) that has some artsy-fartsy shops etc - kind of funky stuff. That would be fun...or maybe Belmar? There's a Sur La Table there - always fun to look at overpriced cooking stuff! Hmm...I'll have to start looking...DS has a lacrosse game first though....

Chainsaw? I'd think 9? I'm sure there are rules somewhere but I can't imagine it would be much later than that...Be careful!

ETA - found it - this is what I was thinking: http://www.southgaylordstreet.com/

or https://www.belmarcolorado.com/shopping.php

Have fun with your daughter mm!

So I just went to collect my daughter (8) from a sleep-over birthday party. I was a bit nervous about this party as I know my daughter is a good kid and unlikely to get drawn into shennanigans, but the other 5 girls there are pretty naughty girls. Anyway, apart from not getting much sleep, someone who would not fess up drew on someone else's face with a sharpie while everyone was asleep. Only problem is the victim and her family have family pictures scheduled this morning. I thought it was hilarious, the other mother, not so much.
