I went to my first "low impact" class at the rec center today. It was good! I'll try to do it every week. The class was mostly older people.

Good for you. If it's anything like the one my MIL goes too you would be the youngest person there.
Her rec center and pool are in danger of being closed because of budget cuts. She said all the oldies (ages probably 65 to 90) went out and picketed the City Council. I'd have loved to have seen that.

We have stupid pipes too! We rent and have called the management company so many times with plumbing issues (due to our trees). They finally dug up part of the yard and completely cleared the area of roots and I think they rerouted something.
Currently they are fixing some mold that formed when our pipes leaked behind our toilet. The guy who came over tried to tell us some B.S. that we got mold inside the wall because we leave the shower door open when we shower. Right...
We still don't know if the management company will try to charge us for fixing the problem and claiming it was tenant caused. Ideally they won't but if they do we have all the documentation showing exactly when the mold started and that it was caused by the bad plumbing. Oh, as for "leaving the shower door open?" We also have proof that that side of the shower doesn't open because the door is broken and has been since we moved in! LOL.

That's funny, we have those too. Except you can't say the word stupid around these parts, it's considered rude. You can say derogatory names for gay people or brown people, but please don't say stupid or damn. *sigh*

BROWN PEOPLE LMAO. One of my best friends is Indian and I swear she is the only person I have ever heard use that word. One time I heard her say brown people and stupid in the same sentence. She is the most "unindian indian person ever.
As for my pipe they are VERY stupid. I get awsome pressure and since I live in an apartment the hot water is good but getting it to the write temp requires a text book. I can turn on the hot water and have really hot water, or turn on the cold water and have cold water. Turn them on at the same time and have hot water, turn up the cold the water gets hotter, turn down the hot it stays the same. Turn up the cold it gets really cold, turn back up the hot to balance it out, turn down the cold it gets hot. So complicated.

No "stupid pipes" here....luckily....Don't get me started on other things but at least hot water comes out when the hot is turned and cold water comes out when the cold is turned....whew! Being in the West (and being constantly aware of water issues), water pressure tends to be low. Not my favorite thing but you get used to it. I'm always shocked when we visit family in the midwest and turn on the shower and you get "WATER!!" instead of "water..."

LOL! Perfect description.
Somebody needs to start a good controversial thread. I'm posting in the POC forum. Stop me, quick. There are people over there who have no souls.

You seem to make a lot of assumptions about people...religious girls are sluts....nurses are all badge bunnies. For someone who barely holds down a steady job for some time, lives at home, and still hasn't done anything with her life, you sure are judgmental.

It used to be you wore business casual to stuff like that but its different now, its acceptable to wear jeans to certain job interviews.
Thats what my mom told me they were looking for was fulltime servers.
Uhm waitresses get the state mandated breaks...
They get a dinner break etc.
I have seen it thousands of times at Chili's, Applebee's you name it, you'll see 2-3 servers sitting in a closed section of the restaurant eating dinner once its died down.

Generally only chain restaurants enforce those breaks...and even then not always.
