It's 6:30 here. I'm going to drag my butt downstairs to cook dinner. Maybe I'll get inspired to throw a load of laundry in.

I planned on being productive during this break from school, but I'm just enjoying the fact that I can be lazy this week.

I just dropped a whole bottle of white wine in my kitchen. Of course it broke into a million pieces. This sucks.

that does suck, Ohio. MM, hilarious story about Macie. I'm more of a cat person, but dogs can be so cute!

My husband has never left the gas on; however, we don't have a grill. That could be why.

I leave the TV on when I go to bed as I can't sleep if it's quiet. My brain won't shut off, and if it's too quiet I think about too much stuff while trying to fall asleep. I put one of my Gilmore Girls' discs in because nothing scary happens on the show. Since I put things from the TV into my dreams often, I have to put something on that has no scary parts.

Cats? I can't stand them because I find them extraordinarily boring. My husband wants a dog so badly, but we are moving to an apartment soon. He's going to have to wait awhile on that one.

LOL - I'm more of a dog person but I like cats too...as long as I don't have to touch them because then my eyes go crazy. Having contacts just makes it worse, because they have to come out, everything has to be cleaned and eyes flushed out. Followed by my entire face itching. Not pleasant.

I am upstairs, on the computer, and I hear her whining and whining. My first thought was "**** frisbee" thinkng she was staring at the fridge and whining because sometimes DS will put the frisbee on top of it. So I go downstairs to see what the whining is all about. She is standing at the entrance of the laundry room, one of her toys is in there, on the floor RIGHT NEXT TO....THE BROOM!! Oh no! She will stare at it and whine about it but she won't go near the broom to get it. What a baby that dog is.....Of course, I went and got it for her, thus reinforcing the behavior....
We have a 9 year-old golden retriever that's just like that. We got her when my oldest was 1, so I truly believe she thinks she's one of the kids. If the kids are home and she can't be with them she goes nuts. She is afraid of the vacuum, tape measures (I'm sure that has nothing to do with DH taunting her with them ), and if there's thunder, which happens a lot around here, she looks for my son to comfort her. She's a 100lb baby. Family movie night involves choosing something for the 4 of us......and the dog. She loves movies. Her fave so far 8 Below.
