Oh, yeah. Lot of bears in Big Bear. I've seen them. My brother and SIL and fam ride up there and tie up their horses in his backyard. They always ask around to see what the bear activity in the neighborhood is.

I'm still laughing at the picture I have in my mind of the gator ringing the doorbell. ("Excuse me, but would you sign my petition to "Save the Gators?" "Why yes, come right in" ...Next sound is butter sizzling in the pan.)

Hey rkb... Hope you're having a fab day, even if it is busy. Who's on bedtime duty tonight?

DS7 is asleep on the couch. So cute. I just made the executive decision to skip his activity this afternoon. I feel relieved. Now I can actually make dinner.

While I think of it my friends...

Take a minute tonight to go outside and look at the moon. It's full right now and especially beautiful with its placement in the night sky.

Wow - coyotes, bears on decks and in houses, gators ringing doorbells with petitions (and if I recall correctly some snakes upthread) ... and here I was getting bent out of shape by a pair of possums noisily cavorting at dusk on the roof right above my head.

Gotta go - door bell. Might be an Aussie croc asking for donations for the Steve Irwin Fund.

The moonlight has been shining through my kitchen windows the past few nights. It looks very cool!
