The door is the same color on the outside. It matches the shutters around the windows. The house is painted a dark brown with cream trim.

Truth be told, I'd like a natural wood door of some sort.

LOL...probably the same place a good portion of my furniture came from!...And actually....that sideboard would totally go with my furniture.....

We've been in our house 14 years and it's still not where I want it....it's getting better little bit by little bit though. Now you have me in the mood to repaint everything though....love your colors.....I'd better keep my mouth shut though. I think if I mentioned paint DH would kill me.

I'm impressed with the shelf that can hold the coffee-table size books!

My shelves are orderly, but many of them also have photos and knick-nacks displayed in front of the books. Makes for a less-neat appearance, but we are a souvenir kind of a family.

Hubby won't paint anymore. He says if I want a new color, I have to paint it myself. I've decided the existing color is just fine for now!

I get on jags regarding painting. There is not one white wall in this house! When we redid the kitchen a couple of years ago, I painted the walls a copper color that is flecked in the granite. But one room and I'm really sick of painting wishing I hadn't started.

Well, we are off to Home Depot - DS has too much time on his hands today and has decided my office desk (DH built) needs to be stained.

That sounds really pretty. We have to have a white front door because of the HOA. Even though you cannot see the front door from the street. Even the security door had to be a certain color. But I fooled them. I had an 9" Mickey Mouse silhouette placed in the bottom corner when we had the door made. My little "up your's" to the neighborhood gestapo.

I don't see any photos.

We've already been to swimming lessons and back this morning. 2 more days of this, then back to normal.

It took me a long time to figure out the quoting and the v thing. There are still things people do in their posts, and I don't know how.

LMAO! Hubby and I have been to Home Depot three times this week ourselves. Next we will be picking up our subfloor. The fun never ends!
