Oh, gosh. I just laughed so loud I scared the cat. Care to share how that came about?
Well we had known one another for a short time. He was very, very skinny at the time, and it transpired he had a tapeworm (I know, gross, but common where we were from). Anyway I diagnosed it, and legend has it he fell in love with me because I saved his life. Aww..... Anyway, tapeworms eat all the food you should be getting, hence the skinniness, and the fainting. I still thought he was a wuss for fainting.
We've gotten a lot done today - but I feel horrible for my son. He went to put up the blinds - did a great job. But when he went to do whatever you do to shorten them and take slats out.....he cut the wrong cord.
This is why I know he will make a great engineer - he got it all figured out and restrung - without even looking at the other set of blinds. Seriously - I can't believe he fixed it. The look on his face when he told me -
I felt so bad for him - he said he'd buy a new one. Now there is no way I'd let him do that considering all he's been doing around here to get things back in order (and re-staining my desk)! But I didn't tell him that. I just told him to see if he could fix it first because I had a feeling he'd fix it.
Dew - I think you need to take a picture of the toilet paper dispenser and post it. I have really got to see that!
Don't know how to post photos.
I was on vacation with some friends. DH had just gotten out of the Army and was hitching around Europe trying to "find himself". (We lived 30 miles away from each other, mind you.) I looked up in a cathedral in Amsterdam and there was this tall, blonde Hot God.
