Have you all seen these Toyota Venza commercials? There are a few of them like this, and they crack me up.

Good luck today, Jr. Hopes.

Hubby and I went swimming yesterday. Had a blast!

I've been teaching TK fractions and how to read a ruler to prepare him for his new job. It blows my mind how little he knows. How can somone graduate from high school without the most basic skills?

My son starts his job today! Please keep him in your thoughts. I'm sure he's terrified, but he hasn't said anything. He seems determined to overcome his fears.
Did you tell us what kind of job he got?

Morning all.

In my best Kermit the Frog imitation I'm going to wave my arms in the air and proclaim, "It's Friday!!"

I've got the song Cats in the Cradle going through my head right now because of the grumpy old man thread.

Love Kermit. Love him. I have a stuffed Kermit in a trunk in the basement somewhere.

Happy Friday! It looks lovely here today. I have sinus pressure though. The crazy weather this week has wreaked havoc with my sinuses. Headaches all week. OTC sinus medication gets more and more difficult to find. And when you do find it, they limit what you can buy. I understand it but it sure is frustrating.

And speaking of Kermit, muppets and honorifics...our dentist likes to be called "Dr. Bob"....he's young and probably never watched the Muppet Show. I keep getting flashbacks of Muppet Veterinary Hospital...with Dr. Bob...Anyway. Really hard to discuss receding gums with and adult called Dr. Bob.

Lol! I imagine it would be! Sorry about your sinuses. Mine are usually so plugged up that when they do open up (and it happens very suddenly) it's like YEOWZA! All those nerve endings hit by a rush of air. So I feel for anyone with sinus troubles. No fun. Hope you feel better soon.

I just watched the Shuttle launch. I watched the very first Mercury launch live on TV when I was a little kid. Now the last Shuttle. Kind of sad to me.
