Uh huh.

Um, is Richard Simmons wearing HOSE? I always thought he was a bit of a planker.

Now I have to go check out the thread.

I'm thinking it's a soup and grilled cheese sandwich kind of night.

That's about my level of interest in dinner....

While I've been going through paper, I've come across recipes I've printed out ... and came across one of my favorites - potato leek soup. I really wish it weren't so darned fattening because it really is yummy. Last night DH and I had tortilla crusted tilapia (frozen from Costco). It was pretty good. I could definitely do fish tacos with those....

Well, I got DH off on his trip. Now I just need to pack myself for my 2 week trip, DD for her 2 week trip to Grandma's, the dog (who I feel may need more packing than either DD or myself, and coordinate with a neighbor to come in every couple of days and take care of the cats. Instead of doing all of that, I am on here. Of course DD and the dog need to be done tonight because I am dropping DD and the dog off right after work tomorrow.

The problem with DH being gone is he is the cook in the family. Could someone please come over and cook us something. I am pretty sure we have a kitchen somewhere in this house.

I had a bowl of Frosted Flakes for dinner and DH had re-heated Chinese so don't look at me.

Have a good time and stay safe!

I had my standard grilled chicken on greens. I made the rest of the fam a kid-friendly dinner. I gained a lb in the last 2 weeks. Still a net loss of 4 lbs.

I just finished watching the Jaycee Dugard interview from last night. Anyone watch? What a disturbing story, but she seems to be relatively well adjusted and happy.

I think I'm more disturbed by the fact that his wife helped, than I am at what he did. We all know there are sicko monsters out there, but to have your wife help feed your sickness? bleh!

Send them to the Finster... she can put them into Aussie-style burgers!

morning all. I'm ready for school to start. I've come to the conclusion that DS7 needs more structure than I can give him in the summer. I think I'll look into day camps next summer. He doesn't do well without structure, which is sad, because that is the beauty of summer vacation! He's driving me nuts!

Morning rkb. I'm sorry you're being driven nuts. Day camp sounds like a great idea. They have all kinds of fun ones, no?
