OMG, OMG, OMG!!

Do not get me started on Don and Phil. I have been in love with Phil Everly since June of 1970 when I saw a live taping of their summer TV show. I adore that man. Thankfully, DH knew that when I married him. And I have stories. (Including the night Phil busted his guitar across a Fender amp at the John Wayne Theater at Knott's Berry Farm and declared the Everly Brothers dead and I went home and cried like a baby.)

How on earth did you pick that?

Funny.... I have always linked the two groups in my head....I enjoy their music. Not too knowledgeable about it but I do enjoy it and smile when I hear it.....

Here's another one just for you:

yes, I think I got worked up over nothing. I felt a lot better after talking to the principal. DS5 is still wheezing but he's acting fine. We'll see if he's better or worse tomorrow. Thanks for asking.

Happens to the best of us. I cannot begin to tell you how much sleep I lost once my kids were in school....stressing about everything. I would wake up at 1 a.m. (everything seems awful at 1 a.m. by the way)...stress for hours about decisions I had made that I was sure would ruin their life.... then finally fall asleep at 5:30 only to have to get up at 6 or 6:30....

We all survived. I didn't ruin their lives. They seem to be reasonably well functioning people....at least most of the time..LOL..

Hang in there!

Thank you! (Phil's the one on the left for those of you who may be wondering. And, oh, those wonderful Gibson guitars.)

Be still my heart.

Do all moms lie awake at night worrying? I know I do! My mom would tell you she hasn't slept through the night in decades.

Glad you feel better about things. I was thinking of you today. Believe it or not there comes a day when you don't wake up at 1am wondering if you are ruining their lives. You wake up at 1am wondering if they are ruining their lives.

Then you put a big ol' sock in your mouth when they call.

ROTFLOL! Thanks MM! Seriously, I NEED for this rain to stop. When we were back in GL for my son's bootcamp graduation, we had 85 and sunny on Sunday...now I'm going stir crazy wanting to get outside and enjoy some weather and get the veggies in the ground...too much time on my hands. I need to burn some energy off outside! LOL

I sure wish you could send the rain this way! We could sure use it.
